Syl's Echoes of Nature

About the Artist

My canvas is unusual, as it is nature's own creation. It is stone. I use thin slices to portray my artwork on, and the stone dictates what I paint. Sometimes it is the Royal Elk, or fluttering chick-a-dees or hovering hummers. To capture nature in its fullness is my desire in my paintings. I want to lead the viewer into nature itself and allow one to savor the beauty of our earth for just a few still moments.
